Shamika Anderson is a native of Indianapolis. She began her career in the telecommunications industry 13 years ago in Customer Service. She climbed the ranks internally through various promotions. Her ability to be a great leader coupled with her experience and leadership style made her the perfect candidate for her current role. She was recruited by Stanly Black and Decker in 2019 to lead their Global Supply Management Sub Contractor Division for the US and Canada. Her experiences in corporate America, as well as her childhood up bringing have shaped her into what can best be defined as resilient. As a management professional with high-level management experience in the Telecommunications and security Industry; she learned that the best way to achieve success is to stimulate the resources she has with well-defined objectives and empowerment. A management belief based on integrity, quality, and service, along with a positive attitude, an aptitude for strategic thought and planning; and the ability to adapt quickly to new ideas and situations allows her to achieve consistent and significant successes in multiple industries.

Her personality profile says: A confident, driven individual who reacts quickly to change, a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who responds positively to challenge and pressure; a fast learner who is a practical and ingenuous problem solver; a fluent and articulate communicator, flexible and responsive; and a self-directed, goal oriented achiever. She successfully manages over 1,500 sub con tractors nationwide. In 2018 she achieved $1.4B in revenue for Fiber customers at Comcast. And in 2019 she completed her goal sheet by hiring a staff of eight internal employees and developing the Sub Con Process end to end playbook to manage sub con labor for Stanley Security. All these achievements are critical for companies to be successful, which must compete in today’s difficult economy.

She has obtained her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University with a 3.36gpa, a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University with a Minor in Business Administration. She also obtained her Associate’s Degree from IVY TECH Community College in Business Administration. Shamika takes service seriously she is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for PACE (Public Advocates for Community Re- Entry) she also serves on their Development Committee and was a person of influence for their annual fundraiser “Art Spoken”. Most recently appointed as Chair of the Community Service Committee for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Indianapolis Chapter. Her mission is to bridge the gap of this great organization and provide a need to deserving nonprofits within the Indianapolis Community. She also served as the Scholarship pageant Chair for Miss Indianapolis Black Expo Scholarship Pageant for 10 years which is an Educational and Empowerment Pageant that focuses on a series of workshops (Y.W.E.S) that is designed to teach young women of color, the importance of higher education, and provide them with opportunities to grow educationally and professionally.

Shamika is also very active within her company she serves as the Co- Lead for the I-WN (Women’s Network) which is an affinity group whose mission is to provide opportunities to Connect, Empower, and Advance Women. Growing up in the inner city in a low-income housing on the East side of Indianapolis. Higher Education was not a topic mentioned in her household and she was not exposed to programs or organizations that would aide in the development of her future. Despite these humble beginnings and obstacles along the way, she is now a wife, mother, college graduate, and technology industry professional.
