Nora is an innovative business professional with 30+ years of progressive human resources and talent management experience for companies in the financial services, insurance, investments, health and beauty product manufacturing, and retail grocery industries. As a respected strategic business partner and change agent, she has successfully led organizations from start-up through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and turnarounds. Her passion for people is most visible when mentoring individuals on their career possibilities, whether a high school or college student, a young professional, or a seasoned executive exploring a mid-life career change. Nora earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University (BSU) majoring in Management Science with a specialization in Management Information Systems. She was recognized by the Miller College of Business (MCOB) in 2004 with an Alumnae Award of Achievement, was a Mentor for Miller Scholars, served on the MCOB Board of Executive Advisors, and currently serves on the MCOB Alumni Advisory Board. Nora’s contributions to the HR profession were recognized in 2012 by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce with an HR Award of Excellence and a President’s Award for contributions to her current employer, The Kroger Co.
As a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, Nora earned the Senior Professional Human Resources designation and is active in the Indianapolis Chapter of SHRM. Her Myers-Briggs personality type is classic ENFP and her Top 5 Gallup Strengths are Harmony, Relator, Achiever, Individualization, and Empathy. Nora is dedicated to her family, volunteers for several local not-for-profits, and loves to garden, do crafts and explore Indiana.
