BOI and the CIWBC have partnered with SBA and our local Microsoft store to host a local InnovateHer Challenge!

This is a grant competition aimed toward assisting women entrepreneurs and/or companies who provide products or services to women.

To participate, contestants must develop a product or service that meets the following three Challenge criteria:

1. Has a measurable impact on the lives of women and families (30%)

2. Has the potential for commercialization (40%)

3. Fills a need in the marketplace (30%)

The winner from our local competition will have the opportunity to compete against other National finalists, where they could win up to $40,000.

Contestants will be asked to provide a 5 minute pitch to a panelist of judges who will evaluate their pitch on based on the business model, feasibility and presentation.
