If I Could Give Advice To My Younger Self,
I Would Say…
Be Open, Pay Attention & Take Note
Even if you feel awkward, shy, unattractive and mired in struggles, there are going to be people or forces in the world that will be placed into your life to inspire, love and support you. These guides will assist you as you grow your own resilience and courage. Each encounter you reach out to and allow into your soul will provide you with a different perspective and an example of what to do next–if only you pay attention and take note.
Move Forward Fearlessly
Understand that fear accompanies your travels along any newly found path. Expect to find help to get you through. Know that the reward for moving ahead, with your supports, will lead to untold lessons about who you are and the uniqueness of your being. With that will come a deeper love for yourself, your fellow humans and that force within.
Be Compassionate
When you stumble during your adventures, realize that criticizing others is only a sign of your discomfort surrounding the unknown. Everybody deals with insecure feelings in ambiguous situations. Be compassionate with yourself and be compassionate with others, knowing that we are all working with a blank canvas each day. It is a certainty that we won’t always paint a picture that is appealing to everyone around us.
Overall, Make Each Day Better than the Day Before
It is important, however, that each daily canvas you create becomes more beautiful over the course of your days here on earth. Steady devotion, to the beauty of your evolving life expression, will not only serve to mold and guide you, but may also emanate out and positively affect others– and your time on earth will have counted for more than you could ever know.
