PRESS RELEASE: Anna O’Nan Appointed as New Pass the Torch for Women Vice Chairperson

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Pass the Torch for Women Foundation is pleased to announce the election of a new Board Executive. Anna O’Nan, Chief Financial Officer of Baker Hill Solutions LLC, will serve as the new Board Vice Chairperson.

“We are elated that Anna has made the decision to serve as the Vice Chair of the Pass the Torch for Women Foundation’s Board of Directors,” states Samantha Burke, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “We look forward to an incredible 2024-2025 under her leadership, and know she will be an outstanding Chairperson at the next stage.”

O’Nan will be leading the current Board, alongside current Chair India Brown, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of PMPHASE, to ensure the mission of Pass the Torch for Women Foundation is shared with the community and internal goals are met and exceeded by the Foundation. The current Board of Directors includes several incredible leaders in the Indianapolis community: Shamika Anderson, Amanda Babic, Rebecca Bormann, Ariel Crawley, Akilah Darden, Betty Lonis, Brian McGinnis, Rachel Stevens, and Tiffany Trotter.

As a longtime mentor within the community, Anna O’Nan shares, “Mentoring talented women across industries, geographies and career stages has been my passion and no organization does it better than Pass the Torch for Women Foundation.  After eight years of hands-on mentoring and serving on the Board, I am honored to step into the Vice Chair role to scale this remarkable organization and its impact on the Indiana community and beyond.  There is nothing like seeing the energy of our mentoring community driving professional and personal growth of each member, building support networks and making a difference – one talented woman at a time.”
