MEET MARISA, OUR NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER!

Marisa is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Purdue University, where she studied Economics and Entrepreneurship. Passionate about relationship-building and service, she started her career in development and stewardship, working with a college campus ministry community before starting her role as Community Manager at Pass the Torch for Women. Marisa is married and has a very energetic and loyal German Shepherd pup. She enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband, reading, and baking bread in her free time.

In Marisa’s life, she has been blessed with many strong and wonderful women who have inspired her. Specifically, her mother, grandmother, and aunts have significantly impacted her life, leading and teaching her about the value of faith, family, and hard work. Through their example, she has learned the importance of serving others and working with passion and zeal.

Marisa joined Pass the Torch because she is inspired by the beauty of empowering women through meaningful connections in the community. She is most excited to meet outstanding individuals in the community who are also passionate about serving others and working together to create positive change for all.
