Mentoring Term
Our Fall mentoring term begins Monday August 9th, 2021! The mentoring term is a six- month commitment, ending December 31st, where each mentee will be mentored for at least one hour per month. The program offers a support system for members of the Pass the Torch community that aims to empower and assist them as they continue their journeys in their schooling, careers, and livelihood. Mentors and mentees will be individually matched with one another to ensure each pair is the best fit.
Why Mentoring Matters
Mentoring connects an individual who has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom with someone who has not acquired the same knowledge or experiences. Pass the Torch for Women Foundation empowers women through mentoring. Our community of over 1,000 members have all come together to achieve a vision of equality in the workplace through supporting women throughout their career lifecycle. Having a mentor is key for continued growth and development, both personally and professionally.
Participate in the Program!
Pass the Torch mentors are the glue that hold the Foundation together and we are always looking for anyone who wants to give back and pass their torch onto someone who needs it the most. If you have a passion to uplift others and have at least 5 years of experience in a management or directing position, consider becoming a mentor! By becoming a mentor, you are acting as an agent of change, dedicating one hour per month to create positive life changing impacts on women. While you may have a local mentee, our virtual mentoring program easily connects you with mentees all across the country and on your timeframe. What are the Benefits of Participating in the Mentoring Program?
Being part of a mentoring program provides many opportunities for personal and professional growth for both mentors and mentees.
As a mentee, you can expand your network and open the door for new development opportunities.
