November 25, 2019– Pass the Torch for Women Foundation will be hosting an event entitled, “Closing the Gaps: Building Pathways for Adult Women in a Technology-Driven Workforce” on December 3, 2019 in the Gershon Fox Ballroom in Hartford, Connecticut. Registration for the event ends on November 29.
Guests will enjoy a plated luncheon and hear from speakers on the topics of cybersecurity, mentorship, and the importance of celebrating and supporting women in tech.
Individual tickets are $20 each, and corporate tables are available for $1,000 each. All tickets can be purchased online and will be available until November 29. Local student tickets are free, and can be accessed through a code by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event is part of Pass the Torch for Women Foundation’s Impact Tour, and is in partnership with Bay Path University through the Strada Education Network Grant. The event’s speakers include representatives from a diverse array of companies– all focused on supporting and promoting women in cybersecurity.
The Lunch Keynote speaker is Audrey Mydosh, Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at Nassau Re, and the Closing Keynote speaker is Mary Lou Haestings, the CEO of Executive Alliance. During lunch, there will also be a panel of executive speakers. Panelists include Danielle Goulet, the Chief Information Security Officer at The Hanover Insurance Group, Elsa Ferreira, the Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer at Evercore, and Mindy Bennett.
