Speed Networking with Mentors

Pass The Torch for Women Foundation is introducing a new opportunity to virtually connect with like-minded women across the nation in order to build your network! Mentoring Women’s Network Monthly Speed Mentoring is a great way to spend your lunch hour learning from others, sharing your professional journey, and building a rolodex of phenomenal people you can count on.

What is Speed Mentoring?

Speed mentoring is the new, innovative way to meet new people in a more efficient time frame. Here is what will happen:

– Register in advance

– Join on the date of the event and fill out your short registration

– Visit the various booths and talk with someone for ten minutes (Don’t worry- you will have your contact’s LinkedIn and information for a great follow up!)

– Mingle with others and build strong relationships by the end of the hour-long event.


The Monthly Speed Mentoring Event will be taking place on Friday March 18th, from 12:00-1:00pm.

Alison Martin-Books
With impressive background work and roughly 15 years in nonprofit work, Alison Martin-Books has a passion for doing work that makes a difference in the lives of others. After serving as Executive Director at two different national nonprofit organizations, her commitment to her passion for developing female talent led her launch Mentoring Women’s Network. In her role, Martin-Books acts as a liaison to a national committee responsible for the leadership development content for the organization and consults with corporations on the development and strategy aligned with initiatives for emerging female leaders. She is also the author of the book, “Landing on My Feet: Learning to Lead Through Mentoring” and speaks regularly on behalf of the organization.
