If I can describe myself in one word it would be resilient. Growing up in the inner city raised in a housing project on the East side of Indianapolis; College was not a word mentioned in my household. My parents did not push for excellence; I developed that mentality with the guidance of my faith. My childhood propelled me into the woman I am today. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University (IUPUI). My career objective would be to become the Regional Vice President of Project Management Organization in a Private Sector. I have been employed with Comcast for 10 years and it is within this organization that I find gratification and fulfillment. I began my career in the customer service call center; and have been on the “fast track” to executive leadership ever since. My current role within Comcast is Manager of Project Management for Fiber Optics for the IN Market. I am over several committees within the company which allow me to serve the community and bring awareness and several causes which are very important to me and my life. I am a new leader mentor and; newly elected Co-Lead for the Women’ Network an internal organization whose mission is to help women to gain and understanding of leadership and skill building by networking and community presence. The Immediate Past President of SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers).
