Lauren is an attorney at Hume Smith Geddes Green and Simmons, LLP where she practices civil litigation. She is responsible for ensuring her clients legal cases are resolved in a cost-effective, timely, and favorable manner. She enjoys advocating for her clients and aiding them in their legal needs.
She began her legal profession at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she spent two years as a Certified Legal Intern with the Health and Human Rights Legal Clinic. During law school, Lauren received a Resident Merit Scholarship and the Norman Lefstein Award for Excellence Gold for her pro bono work. Prior to law school, she attended Purdue University where she graduated with a B.S. in Economics.
Today, she remains involved in various legal organizations aimed at improving the local community including the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic and the Bar Leader Series Class XVII. She is thrilled to add Pass the Torch to her community involvement, and she looks forward to serving as a Pass the Torch mentor to young women as they navigate the workforce.
