Julie Schnieders NP, MSN is the Executive Director of Patient Services for the “new” St.Vincent women’s Center in Carmel, Indiana. Julie is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a frequent guest lectures at a variety of women’s health events for both professionals and the lay public. She has a large following of patients while also being recognized for her contribution to breast health in the establishment of a High Risk breast program at St.Vincent hospital. In addition she has spent time in a clinic for the underserved developing the women’s health program for both gynecology and pregnant women. She is the content contributor to 3384HERwebsite and author of “Ask Julie”.
The Center of Hope (1996) a treatment center for people who have been sexually assaulted has Julie’s contribution on it as she was on the original planning committee for this state wide program.
Currently the Carmel Women’s Center has been open a year and one half. The focus is on prevention, and the care of women. The Women’s Center has OB\GYN, breast specialists, women’s cardiology, osteoporosis specialists, internal medicine, yoga center and commercial kitchen. There are many community events held at the Women’s Center. Julie’s goal is to take care of Women as they spend their lives taking care of everyone else.
